Texas Rodeo Hall of Fame

After a beautiful, Texas-sized, million-dollar renovation, the Texas Rodeo Hall or Fame is now housed in the historic T&P Train Depot. Come retrace history with the famed cowboys and cowgirls who made the thrilling sport of rodeo a beloved American pastime and helped put Pecos on the map!


Pecos isn’t just home to the World’s First Rodeo, it’s also where you can discover rodeo’s great history and honor those who helped further this thrilling sport—all at the Texas Rodeo Hall of Fame. Nowhere is rodeo more celebrated than in Texas!

Take a peek into the rich history of rodeo through a thoughtful showcasing that preserves Pecos' local West of the Pecos Rodeo history and honors those who are a part of it. Inductees have competed in the World's First Rodeo and the West of the Pecos Rodeo, and have reached the pinnacle of their sport as ambassadors who worked to further the tradition and sport of rodeo. Housed in Pecos’ refurbished Texas Trailways Depot, the Texas Rodeo Hall of Fame includes forty inductees to date! Questions? Email texasrodeohalloffame@yahoo.com.
