Red Bluff Lake
Located on the Pecos River just below the Texas-New Mexico border, this 11,700-acre reservoir is an irrigation project that provides a variety of water sports year-round. You can also try your hand at fishing or settle in for some bird watching.
As you head up just past Orla you'll see the historical marker for Red Bluff Lake. Situated 40 miles north of Pecos, the dam was constructed to provide a means of irrigation and power to the area.
